Christmas Party

On Saturday my family came to my home because we were  having an earl'y Christmas party. I could not wait because I never seen my them in one spot together.
By the time everybody was here, we all had to wear white and also we had to wait for the photos.There was lots of food which  looked yummy.
When everybody was here, I was happy because I got to meet my new baby nephew, Nehru. I could not believe my eyes.He was so cute.
After I looked at him, there was a knock on the door so I  went to it  and it was all my whanau. I could not believe they had made it, then there was another knock. It was the photos lady. She was nice then my mum said she was going around taking  photos  and we would have to act normal.
After that, it was family photos then it was dinner time.The food looked yummy then my mum said, present time.We mostly got the same things.
After that, they went home and I think that was my best time with my family.

Sunny Side Zoo

It was a sunny day. The boys could not wait to go to the SunnySide Zoo.
When DJ and Jody got there with their parents, they were excited. They walked around for most of the day looking at the animals.
“Can we go see the baby lions again?” said Jody. 

“Alright,” said Dad, “but be quick."
Jody skipped happily with some meat in her bag and crossed the wooden boards to the lions' cage.
“Roar!” 
She could hear the lions roaring as she got closer.
When she was there, she saw a baby lion out of its cage. She twitched her fingers to get the lions' attention.

“You're so cute. Come here,” she called. 
She slowly put her hand on the baby lion, then there was a loud roar coming from the cage. It was the  mother lion. Jody was a afraid that she had put her hand on her cub, then Jody remembered that she had brought meat with her.
Jody put the meat in the cage then the lions went back and they ate that meat and Jody shut the door and skipped back to  her parents.                           

                            

Zoo Trip

It was a sunny Wednesday morning. It was the day that we got to go to the Hamilton Zoo because our class had to earned marbles in a jar for good behaviour, and our reward was a day at the zoo.
When we got there, I was excited because I had never been to a zoo before.
First, we looked at the owls' enclosure.The owls looked so cute and they were standing still, like a rock, in the dark.
Next, we went to the giraffes' enclosure. When we got to the giraffes, they were tall like the big trees in the background, then we looked at all the other animals.
After we had looked at the animals, we had to go into the Education Classroom. When we got in there, it was different to our class, then a man called Matt, asked us some questions.

After the questions, we got to look around the classroom. There were cracked eggs, bones, a dead crocodile and lots of other cool things. 
When it was finished, it was time to go back to school and I really had a good time at the zoo and I hope I can go again.

Go Noah Production.

Have you heard the amazing St Paul Noah ark. Well it started of 6 weeks ago and I didn't know what I was until I realisd I was a penguin.WE were going to do a dance it was the dance that Kate told us.We were acting like the animals we were and I had a penguin masks on on and people thought it looked funny on me but I didn't care.We had to do lots of singing also I liked my costumes.I was really nervous of doing the penguin dace and I was on stage performing and lisning to the music that keep on singing after our dance other animals came on stage and then we did lots of singing and danceing. After  all of that we did the finale and then there was speeches after speeches we all got to go home and I was vrey tired .

Skye and Storm

One day near christmas Mum and Dad brought two puppies named storm and skye.They put the puppies in a box. when the children come from school they saw a box. The children sat near the box and opened it when it was opened they were screaming with joy and they were careful with the two puppies and the boy and girl weren't expecting this to happen. The two puppies  were girls and they were surprised and they love their gift and there was happiness around the room.

Holy Thursday Liturgy

It was now the time of Passover. Jesus’ followers came to Him and said, “We will go and prepare everything for the Passover Feast. Where do you want to eat the feast?” Jesus answered, “Go into the city. A man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. He will go into a house. Tell the owner of the house, “The teacher wants you to prepare the room for the Passover meal.” So the followers left and went into the city and prepared the Passover Feast.

In the evening, Jesus went to that house with the twelve. While they were eating, Jesus took the bread and gave God thanks and praise. He broke the bread, gave it to his disciples, and said: “Take this, all of you, and eat it; this is my body which will be given up for you.”





  
When supper was ended, he took the cup. Again he gave God thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples, and said: “Take this, all of you, and drink from it; this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.”

After some time, Jesus got up from the table and went to a different part of the room.  He put a large towel around him, making himself look like a servant.  After that, he poured water into a large bowl and began to wash the disciples' feet.  He then dried them with the towel that was wrapped around Him.

When Jesus had finished washing all of the disciples’ feet, he returned to the table.  "Do you understand what I have done for you?"  Jesus asked them.
Jesus is like a King - but even greater than a king, He's the King of Kings!  By washing the disciples’ feet, He was doing something that only a servant would do.
This is an example of how you should treat others.  You don't have to actually wash other people's feet, but do kind things to others and act like a servant for Jesus.

Live Simply Day

Today is Live Simply Day. We live a Live Simply Day each year so that we can stand in solidarity with the poor people in our world. To live simply means to walk to school, not come in cars and have no shoes. On Live Simply Day, we did not eat our usual food. We ate rice for lunch, and we did not use computers.

My shell feels smooth, and it looks like soap, and, when I put it in the sun, it looks shiny, and it looks white like a dove, and my shell is precious and my shell is beautiful.

Oil reminds me of the Holy Spirit because the oil makes us strong like the Holy Spirit makes us strong.
